This Website Uses Less Energy

This website has been eco-designed with a strong focus on reducing its environmental impact.
Creating a more energy-efficient digital experience doesn’t mean compromising on content or usability. It means making thoughtful choices: streamlining design, reducing unnecessary features, limiting data-heavy elements, and prioritizing simplicity and performance.

Why Is This Important?

Every time a web page is viewed, data is transmitted — consuming electricity on both the server and user side. The heavier a website (uncompressed images, autoplay videos, unnecessary scripts, etc.), the more energy it takes to load and display.

What We’ve Done

🌱 Lightweight architecture: clear structure, minimal use of external resources, no energy-intensive visual effects.
📦 Optimized images: compressed image formats, progressive or deferred loading.
💤 No invasive tracking: we avoid heavy, intrusive third-party scripts and prioritize data privacy.
🧩 Intentional design: each feature was evaluated based on its usefulness and impact.
⚖️ Balanced content: rich information presented in a simple and efficient format.
This eco-design approach was developed in collaboration with the web agency Voilà Le Topo.

What Happens Next?

Eco-design is a continuous process. We will continue to monitor the website’s performance and sustainability and explore new ways to reduce its digital footprint even further.
