Driving the Local Floating Wind Industry Forward
From the early stages of the tender, the project’s developers made firm commitments to ensure that the region benefits directly from the project’s economic impact.
These include creating long-term value at a regional level, supporting the emergence of a local floating wind turbine industry and integrating regional expertise into every phase of the project.
Numerous stakeholder consultations are ongoing to ensure that local actors are actively involved and that the sector develops sustainably within the region.
A Project Awarded The “Breizh Content®” Label
Pennavel has been awarded the “Breizh Content®” label by the BPN Bretagne Pôle Naval industrial cluster in 2022.
This label highlights our strong desire and deep commitment to strengthening the development of the local industrial fabric by maximizing integration of Breton companies throughout the value chain.
Pennavel is also a signatory of the national Charter of Commitment to support the development of a French offshore wind industry, alongside 5 regional clusters: Aquitaine Blue Energies, Bretagne Ocean Power, Neopolia, Normandie Maritime and Wind’Occ.
